Whether you're a budding florist, a creative soul planning your own wedding, or someone looking to explore the art of wedding floristry, this two-day course is the perfect place to start. Led by our friendly and experienced florists, you'll learn the foundations of planning, preparing, and creating timeless floral pieces for wedding celebrations.

This course focuses on the practical skills, creative techniques, and behind-the-scenes planning that go into successful wedding florals — all in our relaxed, flower-filled studio.

Day One: The Foundations of Wedding Floristry

• Introduction to wedding flowers
• Planning your floral designs
• Sourcing and selecting flowers
• Seasonality and sustainable choices
• Flower care and conditioning
• Creating a bridal bouquet
• Crafting buttonholes + corsages
• Making a table centrepiece and tablescape

Day Two: Creative Details & Styling

• Flower buying: how and where to order
• Planning and scheduling your wedding prep
• Transporting your flowers with care
• Creating a second bouquet style
• Designing a hair comb
• Crafting a romantic flower crown
• Creating an elegant urn arrangement

You'll leave with:

✔ Hands-on experience across key wedding floral designs
✔ Tips for seasonal flower selection and transport logistics
✔ Your own bridal bouquet, buttonholes, centrepiece, and more
✔ A deeper understanding of planning wedding flowers with confidence

Date: 4th -5th November 2025, 10-5pm both days

All tuition, materials and equipment are included, plus light refreshments. We will have a one hour lunch break each day, there are lots of super gorgeous cafes in Wimborne where we are based or please feel free to bring a packed lunch to eat in the studio.
