We specialise in curating and delivering beautiful, hand-picked flowers that brighten any occasion and bring smiles to those who receive them. Our shop in Wimborne is the heart of it all—a colourful, welcoming space where you can find the perfect bouquet, join our hands-on workshops, and immerse yourself in the joy of flowers.

In the beginning…
We are a mother & daughter team who always had a dream of opening our own floristry business. With Lauren working as a primary teacher and Barbara in corporate finance, this dream felt a world away. We have always been best friends + opening a business together had always been something we spoke about. Fast forward, a couple of years and lots of training and it was time to make the dream a reality!
2018
The Happy Blossoms shop in Poundbury opened in July 2018 and the dream to open a flower business together finally became a reality. The shop was a little floral haven and it wasn't long before my Dad Ray joined the family business in November 2018. We spent the next year sending out beautiful bouquets locally and nationwide and creating everything floral. Whenever HRH King Charles II visited, we created floral arrangements for visits, which was such a wonderful experience. We were featured in an ITV documentary called ‘Inside The Duchy’!
2019
2019 saw our first full year in our beautiful shop with our first Valentines & Mothers Day! We then had a gorgeous summer of wonderful weddings! The end of 2019 brought the very first Baked Blossom bunch! Our Baked Blossoms are our dried flower range, these super popular bunches quickly became bestsellers and became part of our core range!
2020
Early 2020 we launched the very first Sherbert Macaroon Baked Blossom Bunch which resulted in being featured in the likes of Living etc and well as The Independent.
When the pandemic hit, things were turned upside down for everyone, and our beautiful shop in Poundbury had to close when the UK went into lockdown. We had to press pause on our Fresh Flowers but our Baked Blossom grew astronomically sharing love and happy-ness all over the UK!
2020, brought new Baked Blossom collections, new products, expanding our team which included Chloe, my sister, joining the business (a very exciting moment), and a brand new HQ in the Dorset countryside! 2020 was certainly a rollercoaster.
2021
2021 was another hugely exciting year for The Happy Blossoms! We began the year by launching Fresh Flowers which we hadn't stocked since before the pandemic! We launched our nationwide Fresh Blossoms and then later in the year launched our dried wedding flowers; Blossom With Me. With the online side of our business expanding we took the tough decision to close our Poundbury shop. We finished off 2021 with a nominee for Small Business of the year from Holly Tucker’s Independent Awards, launching our biggest ever Christmas collection and hosting some very exciting workshops.
2022
2022 was a busy year filled with beautiful collections of Baked Blossoms and an exciting feature on This Morning. We also collaborated with the French beauty brand L'Occitane, launched our new website, and began creating floristry tutorials.
2023
In 2023, we launched exciting new products and designed fresh floral styles - from our larger-than-life BIG Blossoms to our vibrant Bud to Baked Blossoms collection. It was also a milestone year as we celebrated five years in business and collaborated with the iconic French beauty brand Lancôme on a very special product partnership.
2024
A wonderful year where we returned to our shop roots and opened our new store on East Street in Wimborne - a colourful, welcoming, and creative space filled with gorgeous homewares, joyful gifts, and beautiful flowers. It’s also where we now host our floristry workshops and courses, sharing our love of flowers in person once again. We also worked with some amazing corporate clients and had our busiest year yet for dried flower weddings.
2025
2025 became a huge year for our Flower School.
After years of running The Happy Blossoms and teaching workshops, we launched our five-day Career Change Course, bringing together everything we had learnt about flowers, design, weddings and running a floristry business.
Seeing our students learn, experiment and develop their own style made us realise just how much we loved teaching and how big a part of the future of The Happy Blossoms we wanted it to become.
Alongside the Flower School, we continued creating weddings, events and our signature Baked Blossoms.
2026
2026 has brought another big evolution for The Happy Blossoms.
We launched our Online Flower School, giving flower lovers everywhere the chance to learn floristry with us from home through step-by-step tutorials, flower recipes, guides, live sessions and an ever-growing library of floral inspiration.
We also made the decision to close our Wimborne shop and move into our next chapter, giving us more freedom to concentrate on teaching, creating and everything we want The Happy Blossoms to become.
Today, you can learn with us through our Online Flower School, in-person workshops, floristry courses and Career Change Course, as well as create at home with our kits and guides.
We are also still very busy florists creating flowers for weddings and events and continue to make our signature Baked Blossom bunches here in Dorset.
And this is only the beginning...
After nearly ten years of working with flowers, we have learnt a lot, made plenty of mistakes, changed direction more than once and created thousands and thousands of arrangements along the way.
Now we want to share what we have learnt.
