Founded by us, Barbara and Lauren, amother-daughter duo with a dream of creating the most magical flower brand, inspiring people to bringcolour into their homes by bringing amazing, unusual + unique flowers into the everyday. As theoriginal colourful dried and fresh flower brand, we are the experts in bold florals and design, bringing a POP of colour into your life with all the happy feels!

In the beginning…

Opening a flower business one day was always a dream for us but with Lauren working as a primaryteacher and Barbara in corporate finance, this dream felt a world away. We have always been bestfriends + opening a business together had always been something we spoke about. Fast forward, a couple of years and lots of training and itwas time to make the dream a reality.

The Happy Blossoms shop opened in July 2018 and the dream to open a flower business together finally was a reality. We opened The Happy Blossoms in July 2018 and haven’t looked back since. The Happy Blossoms has always been all about bold and unique design. It wasn't long before my

Dad joined the family business in November 2018. We spent the next year sending out beautifulbouquets and designs locally and nationwide and creating everything floral. Also, whenever HRH thePrince of Wales visited his town of Poundbury we created floral arrangements for visits, which wassuch an honour! We were also featured in an ITV documentary called ‘Inside The Duchy’!

The end of 2019 brought the very first Baked Blossom bunch! The Baked Blossom name andconcept was created around the dining table at home after brainstorming new product ideas andexpanding our current products to include dried flowers but with a difference! We wanted to createdried flowers bunches that featured unique designs and colour, lots of colour!

Early 2020 we launched the very first Sherbert Macaroon Baked Blossom Bunch which resulted in being featured in the likes of Living etc and well as The Independent which was incredible.

When the pandemic hit, things were turned upside down for everyone, and our beautiful shop in Poundbury had to close when the UK went into lockdown. We had to press pause on our Fresh Flowers but our Baked Blossom grew astronomically sharing love and happy-ness all over the UK!

2020, brought new Baked Blossom collections, new products, expanding our team which included,Chloe, my sister, joining the business (a very exciting moment), and a brand new HQ in the Dorsetcountryside! 2020 was certainly a rollercoaster.

2021 was another hugely exciting year for The Happy Blossoms! We began the year by launchingFresh Flowers which we hadn't stocked since before the pandemic! We launched our nationwideFresh Blossoms in our new bright pink boxes. We expanded our fabulous team and then later in theyear launched our dried wedding flowers; Blossom With Me. With the online side of our businessexpanding we took the very difficult decision to close our Poundbury shop. We finished off 2021 witha nominee for Small Business of the year from Holly Tucker’s Independent Awards, launching ourbiggest ever Christmas collection, becoming a climate-positive workforce, and hosting some veryexciting workshops.

We kicked off 2022 with new collections collection, a very exciting feature on This Morning, amazingbrand collaborations as well as launching our brand new website. We have big things in the works for2022 and for the future and we hope you will enjoy along with us.

Thank you so much for coming on this journey with us so far, we couldn’t have done it without you. We really appreciate it so much.

Loads of Love,

Lauren and The Happy Blossoms xx
