Here at THB, we have been discussing all things autumnal and how we are turning our homes into cosy havens, as the weather turns colder and the nights are drawing in. We wanted to give you all some of our tips that we think will make your home the perfect place for comfort, relaxation and a space to escape the cooler months!

Autumn Interiors
Bringing the outdoors inside is a huge trend this Autumn/ Winter. Therefore adding seasonal pieces to your home can create a cosy atmosphere indoors.
Create an autumn tablescape with new crockery, candles and placemats in hues as beautiful as the autumn sunsets, or the fallen leaves from the trees.
Why not spruce up your bedside table or coffee table in the living room? You can create an autumnal setting anywhere perhaps with pumpkins, pine cones, preserved leaves and of course dried flowers!

Introduce an autumnal mug

It’s time to up your autumn mug game! A new autumnal mug to enjoy those autumnal hot beverages in will soon be your favourite! Perfect for enjoying a warming hot chocolate by the fire as the nights draw in. And of course your favourite coffee for those darker cold mornings. Think of it as your very own mini hot water bottle for your hands! Perfect for pumpkin spice latte season (YAY!).

Bring in Autumnal Scents

Find comfort and joy in bringing those Autumnal scents back into your home. Surround yourself with scents that feel familiar and comforting, perhaps a citrus and spice scent which can be very nostalgic and will take you through right till Christmas (oops we said it). Candles will also create a beautiful natural, soft light in your home.

Dress up the Sofa

Sinking into the sofa on an autumn evening is the epitome of cosy, is there any other place you’d rather be? Why not add more comfort when it comes to Autumn by layering up your sofa with autumnal cushions, warm blankets and perhaps warmer lighting. The perfect place to watch your favourite new series, or of course Strictly!
Cook up seasonal Treats

Why not start cooking up a storm in the kitchen, with heartwarming treats! Bake your favourite crumble with piping hot custard, your favourite soup with perhaps some homemade bread or even cookies for your cuppa or hot chocolate!

We hope these tips will help you create the perfect place to spend your autumn nights!
