The Role Title: Full Time Customer Experience Assistant
Where: Our Barn in Wimborne, Dorset
Hours: 40 hours a week Mon – Fri (this role will occasionally require weekend work around peak periods).
A little bit about us: The Happy Blossoms is a family-run Floral Lifestyle Store who specialise in making the ordinary – extraordinary! We are known for our love of everything colourful and for creating beautiful colourful floral creations to brighten days and delight our fab customers!
What are we looking for - The Role: We are looking for a hard-working, organised and conscientious Customer Experience Assistant to join our growing, fast-paced and dynamic floral start-up, The Happy Blossoms. Launched in 2018 by a Mother Daughter team from our store in Poundbury and we have now expanded to a barn near Wimborne, Dorset.
We have built our business by providing excellent customer service and continually delivering products that delight! As a part of our small team, you will ensure that these important values consistently improve as we grow!
We are looking for a team player who also works well by themselves, is flexible, willing to get stuck in and work with our small team and work with what we have to grow THB! You will have experience working in a customer service role and need to be confident with IT as this is mainly a computer-based role. You will be responsible for communicating with customers in a professional and timely manner, dealing with enquiries and order information. You will have a positive attitude, enjoy dealing with enquiries with a key eye for detail. We are looking for a keen bean who is passionate about providing customers with a seamless and amazing experience at THB and be willing to work longer hours over peak periods.
This role will involve but not limited to:
Responding to customer enquiries in a timely manner
Organising of the email inboxes
Liaising and communicating customer orders with the rest of the team
Picking and packing customer orders
Working with our postal system to produce postal labels
Work within our CMS to manage customer orders
Organise daily dispatching of orders
General tidying of our studio
Organisation and stock management of core ingredients and stock
General administrative tasks in our studio.
Accurately recording actions and notes within our CMS ensuring attention to detail.
Willing to get stuck in and keen to get involved in all areas of the business!
Be passionate about providing amazing customer service!
Have a full UK driving license and your own transport - due to our rural location.
Be computer and tech savvy! Due to a large portion of our business being online, we work with different computer software’s and so having confidence with tech is essential.
Have experience working in a customer service role ideally in an e-commerce business.
Very confident with writing emails.
Be a problem solver who takes ownership of tasks.
Be punctual, flexible, reliable and calm under pressure.
Have an eye for detail.
Be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word as well as Google Docs.
Be a great communicator, conscientious and a team player!
Have a Maths and English GCSE.
Must be okay with Dogs; we have a family dog who is part of our THB team!
Must be okay working in a rural location. Our barn operates as a busy studio/workshop and so layers and thermals may often be required in the winter!
Most importantly, someone who brings positivity and enthusiasm to the role.
