a day full of flowers

Very excited to be writing my first blog post here on the happy blossoms! It seems appropriate that my first post is all about a day surrounded by some of the most beautiful and exotic flowers I have ever seen at the annual Hampton Court Palace Flower Show and I loved every moment of it! This years trip was my third visit and I do think it was my favourite one so far.  I loved the various woodland flower displays, starting off with these beautiful foxgloves!

The highlights for me were definitely the Floristry Design Tent where the lovely ladies from Flowers From the Farm made my family and I some beautiful handmade flower crowns which made me feel like a flower princess! See below for my crown!

I loved their design which features all British flowers that are #grownnotflown. My favourite British flower at this time of year is the sweet pea which made up the stunning butterfly as shown below.

I also loved exploring the beautiful Rose Tent where we saw lots of new varieties of rose, such as this beauty below! Have you ever seen such amazing colours!?

I loved exploring the entire event and saw an arrangement of stunning displays by so many talented gardeners, florists and designers. I feel very inspired and can’t wait for the next event. Thank you RHS for a truly brilliant day!
